1. RULES AND RACING STRUCTURE

1.1 The Organising Authority shall be the Welsh Harp Sailing Club (WHSC).

1.2 The Racing will be governed by the rules as defined in

The Racing Rules of Sailing, the WHSC Club Racing Sailing Instructions and this Notice of Race. Please refer to Sailing Instructions for details of any changes to RRS rules and amendments to class rules

2. COMMUNICATIONS WITH COMPETITORS

2.1 Alterations to this NOR will normally be communicated via a Race Officer briefing, WhatsApp, email or on the WHSC club calendar at HERE

3. ELIGABILITY AND REGISTRATION

3.1 Racing classes, eligibility for entry and procedures & times for registration are defined in the WHSC Club Racing Sailing Instructions

4. SCHEDULE OF RACES

4.1 See appendix A.1 for a summary of the sailing day categories as defined in the WHSA Byelaws; all Club Racing is designated as C Day unless otherwise marked. Individual races are noted in the WHSC club calendar HERE.

Appendix A.1 SUMMARY of WHSA CATEGORIES OF SAILING DAYS

Category A No other craft are allowed on the water until racing is finished.
Category AZ On occasion an A category may be designated to a zoned area of the lake.
Category B No other racing is allowed.
Category C The relevant club has the right to organise starts and decide the course, after which all others, if using the same marks, shall round them in the same direction.
Category D Events are listed for information only.
