Racing Report – Sat 8 Mar
It was definitely the start of spring. The sun was shining; the wind was warm – a compensation for being south-ish – and typically March (gusty); the daffodils were out when we returned to NCSC for tea for the first time this year - so nice to be back.
The University were occupying the dam end of the Harp so Norman set a course 4 6 7 8 5 which allowed us the occasional plane across from 8 to 5 and plenty of goosewinging from 4 to 6 for those of us less keen to fly the kite in gusts of 20+.
Being down near the NCSC pontoon not only meant that were close for tea it gave Luke the opportunity to take some great shots. Take a look at them on WHSC Facebook page.
