NOTICE OF RACE

1 Rules

The Racing will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS), the prescriptions of the R.Y.A., this Notice of Race, the Sailing Instructions and the appropriate Class Rules.

2 Eligibility and entry

The event is open to GP 14, Laser and RS Tera classes. GP 14, same helm for all races. All members encouraged to enter from novice to gold fleet.

3 Fees

£0 - entry free, including lunch and tea with cakes.

4 Schedule

10:15 Briefing

11:00 First start –11.am, warning signal 10.55, followed by lunch then two races back to back.

Tea, cakes and prize giving.

5 Sailing Instructions

The sailing instructions will be available at Registration.

6 Venue

7 Insurance

Each participating boat shall be insured with valid third-party liability insurance with a minimum cover of £ 2 million.

8 Scoring

The series will be scored as provided in Appendix A of the RRS using the Low Point System.

Three races, two to count.

9 Prizes

Awarded at discretion of race committee.

10 Disclaimer of Liability

Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. See rule 4 (RRS) decision to race. (Full details in Sailing Instructions). The organising authority will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta.
